Looking to work for a new company? Look no further. Kelly Services is currently recruiting for 2nd Shift Warehouse Supervisor for a new customer coming to Carlisle, PA. As a supervisor you will be responsible for:

Supervise, train, and provide direction for employees.

Proactively audit and coordinate established procedures, systems, and standards for overall management of on-site operations.

Implement new policies, procedures, and process improvements for all areas to ensure financial viability of the organization.

Provides expertise and techniques for root cause analysis as a result of service failures.

Responsible for payroll validation & approval in a timely manner.

Conduct regular 1:1-s with staff, reviewing their performance and development goals against actual achievement.

Establish and maintain training and education programs insuring continual development of operations staff.

Compliance with local, state, and federal laws as well as Department of Transportation regulations.

Participate in weekly operation meetings, informing various staff and management of current condition of projects, current business outlook, future business outlook, safety updates, and

any new HR policies or updates.

Solicit participation and assistance of various staff and client personnel in problem resolution while maintaining customer goodwill.

Create a positive work environment resulting in a highly motivated operational staff adhering to the highest standards of integrity and business ethics

Administer and control Progressive Corrective Actions of staff members.

Daily communication of labor management to ensure proper customer support.

Proper utilization/productivity by maintaining a pulse of daily activity, proper assignment of activity due business shifts, balance of workload within/across teams, while minimizing over-time.

Management of KPI data validation, LRC/CAR, and trend non-conformance.

Other duties as assigned.


5 years of direct experience working in a logistics environment. Ideal candidate will have knowledge/previous exposure in a 3PL environment.

Must have 2+ years of increasing leadership and supervisory responsibilities.

Strong working SAP knowledge required.

Intermediate to Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).

Experience in a high volume, multi-seasonal environment; Must be able to work weekends, late evenings, and overtime during the peak season.

Excellent communication and organizational skills with emphasis on customer service.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to react quickly to resolve problems.

Self-motivated and have the ability to multitask in a face-paced environment.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively others toward mutual objectives and able to influence across non-direct reports on cross functional teams.

Ability to work under pressure can prioritize workload accordingly.

Must have a positive attitude and operate with high integrity.

Must perform work with drive, energy and focus.

Ability to adjust priorities appropriately in response to unusual circumstances.

Continuous improvement mindset; working knowledge of Six Sigma standards and processes

Build and sustain a safe working environment and culture.

Extensive experience in high volume environment (shipping 40K unit + daily)

Extensive experience managing direct to customer orders and retail shipments, including management of retail routing guide requirements

Forward logistics, finished goods distribution experience required.

Extensive experience within an automated, pick, pack and ship environment.

Proven ability to maintain a high energy and passion for excellence which sets the standard for team to model.

Extensive experience with NPI and Q4 peak periods; ability to build model that supports 5X volume and staffing models.

Bachelor-s degree preferred.
