As a Reliability Engineer you will partner with the Quality Department and New Product Development to develop and administer quality standards and set the strategic direction of Quality for our products. This position will develop and maintain processes to assist Hearth & Home Technologies in obtaining World Class Quality by directing the activities of the Quality Assurance Department for the facility.

Requirements

As Reliability Engineer you will:

  • Be a key contributor in the New Product Development gate process to ensure the reliability of the product is statistically validated.

  • Evaluate and reduce potential quality and litigation issues by validation of product provided by various teams (New Product Development, procurement, or operations).

  • Ensure the product meets and exceeds agency and internal standards over the life of the product.

  • Develop predictive models to estimate the failure levels of components and or assemblies.

  • Investigation, development and validation of component changes to drive improvement.

  • Measurable:

  • Reduce Halifax Service Call Rate and reduce overall warranty spend

Individuals considered for this role will have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.

  • Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial engineering background - preferred

  • 3+ year’s experience in Reliability/Quality engineering - preferred

Think you’re ready for the challenge? Individuals considered for this role will have a degree in engineering, or a related technical field with progressively responsible experience in reliability or quality engineering. Ideal candidates will possess expertise in Statistical Process Control, project management, quality documentation and proven application of continuous improvement methods to assist/recommend quality improvements in processes/functions. The candidate must be able to develop and execute a reliability plan and be willing to relocate to Halifax, PA.
