A bachelor’s degree in behavioral health services field with training and experience in crisis management OR child/behavioral health care specialist in behavioral health services field with high school diploma, training, and experience in crisis management, minimum of one year’s experience is preferred, and supervised by child/adolescent specialist with a master’s degree in MH/related field with a minimum of one year’s experience in services.
Analytical skills for assessment of psychosocial data and aftercare planning.
Must have valid driver’s license and qualify for WellSpan Philhaven driving privileges. Must obtain PA drivers’ license in accordance with PA laws if license upon hire is out-of-state.
Knowledge of and ability in the care and handling of children and adolescents required, including consideration of the special needs and behaviors of this group
Interpersonal verbal and listening skills necessary to establish therapeutic interactions with clients
