NHS is currently seeking a Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse, DAY SHIFT to work with our Special Needs Adults as part of our NHS IDD division in our Hummelstown, PA location.

Shift differentials, weekend rates, and holiday pay will be applied to qualified positions
This position is Enhanced Pay Eligible!!! Successful applicants have the option to receive an additional $2/hr for all hours paid!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.
Administer medication and therapeutic treatments as per physician's orders
Monitor for potential side effects and report it to psychiatrist
Provide care in a manner that considers the patients' rights, safety, comfort, and the overall therapeutic environment
Observe and document and report patient behavior
Monitor and document weights, pulses, respirations and blood pressures for children and adolescents starting stimulant medications.
This position requires a Licensed Practical Nurse.
A minimum of one (1) year current nursing experience is preferred.
A current Pennsylvania License
A genuine interest in working with individuals with physical and developmental disabilities.
