Armstrong Flooring, Inc., has opportunity for an Entry Level Inside Sales Representative at multiple locations within the US. The Entry Level Inside Sales Representative will have the opportunity to develop strategic selling skills by building diverse, collaborative relationships with customers and sales managers. Additionally, the Entry Level Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for supporting a specific sales territory through lead generation, creation of quality specifications, and solution selling while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. The Entry Level Inside Sales Representative will also assist the team with promotions and events to include new product launches.
Key Responsibilities of the Inside Sales Representative:
Assist in development and enhancement of processes to track business to region directors and Builder/PM Sales Manager
Liaison between AFI and Distribution Partner
Work with Distributor Sales Team to qualify potential projects and track key information such as special pricing exceptions, product displays and sample ordering.
Address customer claims, resolving through proper AFI channels
Support the sales process through collaboration with the account manager
Maintain accurate records in the CRM for assigned accounts
Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails. Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure.
Achieve KPIs and goals
Participate in national and regional sales campaigns and new product launches as a selling team
Act as a technical resource for accounts
Receive operational guidance and reporting to the Inside Sales Manager
Required Qualifications for the Entry Level Inside Sales Representative:
Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to work independently and within a team to manage multiple priorities
Leadership abilities demonstrated through involvement in student organizations and/or community service
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications
Co-op or internship experience and a willingness to relocate
Desired Qualifications for the Entry Level Inside Sales Representative:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Architecture, or Construction Management
Previous sales experience
Experience in SAP and CRM systems
