This position is under the supervision of the Human Resources Supervisor or Manager and is responsible for the administrative support of day-to-day HR operations at the plant. Performs a variety of HR functions including on-boarding tasks, site- specific training, attendance tracking, service award administration, first-aid and safety team facilitator. Administers and coordinates plant events which include engagement, Safety and Company-wide events.

  • Assists employees and supervisors on interpretation of policies and procedures

  • Conducts new hire orientation sessions

  • Provides first-aid, prepares first report of injury documents, coordinates with our Workers Compensation carrier on Return To Work and alternate duty.

  • Conducts safety audits according to our PSWA, provides safety statistics & reports and facilitates safety teams. Leads JSA creation, machine guarding evaluation, and corrective action log tracking.

  • Maintains employment records including attendance, new hire set up, PCN’s, and medical.

  • Performs special assignments in connection with HR projects, activities and special events.

  • Assists in the roll-out and assessment of our engagement efforts.

  • High School Diploma required

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred (HR or business field)

  • 2-4 years of general administrative and/or human resources experience preferred. HR experience in a mfg environment a plus.
