Job Description:

Full-time administrative Associate Vice President of Student Affairs position is available July 2018. The AVP is responsible for the coordination, management, and supervision for the Center for Leadership Development and for Campus Diversity Education. The AVP serves as Student Affairs coordinator and liaison to the Divisions of Academic Affairs and Student Success for student academic advising and support services including First Year Experience, Gen Education, Career Development, and Student Advising. The AVP will supervise departmental and divisional personnel for student leadership programs, diversity education, and professional development experiences. The AVP will also coordinate departmental training and in-service education for Student Affairs leadership and professional development programs.


Master's degree in student affairs administration, counseling, or related field required, doctorate preferred. Eight to ten years professional experience in college student affairs work is required.
